Suggestion Description:

Add the addon “Star Wars EMP Grenades” to the server, replace the init.lua in EMP\lua\entities\t3m4_ent_empgrenade with the one I’ve provided below - the changes made are:

- Removed the SetArmor(0) function - no longer removes armour from players.

- Changed damage to players from between 15 and 30 to 1 - still does a point of damage to show players that it has gone off but does not pose any realistic harm to friendlies.

- Changed damage to NPCs from 100-200 to 400-600 - Whilst it seems there is no standard amount of health for droids during events, I asked a couple GMs what they normally set their basic B1 battle droids’ health to during events. The answers ranged from 300 to 500. As such, I believe this value is fair - the intention is to be able to fully kill basic B1s (as with regular thermal grenades) but not have them be so OP that they kill higher classes of droids in 1 shot.

- Removed the 5 second stun code block entirely - Stunning players would be stupid, we don’t want that.

After adding the addon, implement the below battalion job changes.

Why add this?:

It is evident that 212th cannot be trusted with detpacks. As such, we want to remove them. However, simply removing them and not adding something else as compensation would be a bit unfair to our personnel. I believe that these are cool and unique enough that the 212th would not mind losing the detpacks.

This would be a really nice change, right now the detpacks can cause may issues, from accidental death and unfreezing props to blatant abuse. The EMP grenades not only make alot of sense lore wise but also in general usability.

I love droid poppers. They can't be abused to cause issues during events, and can be easily deployed without worrying much of damage to friendly forces.

ACCEPTED with a couple small changes

Damage felt kind of high so reduced the damage range to 300-500
very minor, but 1 damage felt too small to players to put it up to 5.
